Privacy Policy
Effective 12 August 2026 / Last updated 22 September 2026
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how n11, the operator of Widget Soccer (the “Operator”) handles information in the iOS app Widget Soccer, including its Home Screen widget (the “App”), and on its official website.
1. Game Data Stored on the Device
The App stores player names, player data, statistics, progress, settings, onboarding completion, purchased-feature unlock status and other game data in the local area shared by the App and its widget on the user’s device. This game data is not sent to an Operator-managed server, and the Operator does not obtain or view it.
When permitted by the user, App notifications are scheduled locally on the device. The App does not register a remote push-notification device token with an Operator-managed server.
Deleting the App normally deletes locally stored game data. However, App Store purchase records, Game Center records and information handled by advertising providers may be retained separately under the policies of Apple, Google or the applicable provider.
2. Rewarded Ads and the Google Mobile Ads SDK
Regardless of purchase status, optional off-season special training uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK, provided by Google LLC, to deliver rewarded ads. The selected training is performed only after the rewarded video has been completed. The App also loads and serves off-season training rewarded ads to users who have purchased the one-time product. Normal time-based career progression continues without using rewarded training.
Google and its advertising technology partners may automatically collect or process the following information to load and display ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, manage frequency and maintain or improve advertising services:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from an IP address or similar information
- Information about the device, operating system, App and language
- Advertising identifiers and other device, app-bounded or developer-bounded identifiers, when available
- Advertising data and interactions, including ads shown, impressions, video views and clicks
- Usage information, including App launches and interactions with advertising features
- Diagnostic and performance information, including crash logs, launch time, hangs and energy use
Depending on the user’s choices, device settings, region and ad-serving configuration, this information may be used to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads, measure and analyze ads, prevent fraud and improve services. The Operator primarily receives aggregated advertising reports from AdMob and does not directly obtain the detailed advertising profile held by advertising providers for an individual user.
For details about Google’s handling of information, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
3. Advertising Consent and Choices
The App uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to update consent information and, depending on the user’s region, applicable law and AdMob configuration, present advertising consent or choice messages. The App does not load an ad until any required consent or choice process is complete and the SDK indicates that ads may be requested.
Where applicable, users can review or change their choices through “Ad Privacy Settings” in the App’s Settings screen. Advertising preferences may also be managed through iOS privacy settings and My Ad Center. Even non-personalized ads may process certain information for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud prevention and similar purposes.
The App does not present an App Tracking Transparency permission prompt and does not obtain the IDFA. However, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and advertising technology partners may use available app-bounded or developer-bounded device identifiers for third-party advertising, ad measurement or analytics. Consistent with the Google Mobile Ads SDK declaration, the App Store privacy label identifies Device ID as data used to track users.
4. In-App Purchases
The App is free to download, and the first player is free from creation through retirement. Continuing with a new player after retirement, or developing a second player alongside the first, requires a non-consumable (one-time) In-App Purchase that permanently unlocks future player creation. Check the purchase screen and App Store for the current regional price. The purchase does not include ad removal or ad skipping; rewarded ads remain required for off-season special training after purchase. Purchases and restorations use StoreKit and Apple’s App Store.
Apple Inc. manages payment, the Apple Account and payment methods. The Operator does not receive credit card numbers or other payment credentials. To display products, unlock purchased features and restore purchases, the App receives product identifiers, price information, App Store-signed transaction verification results, current entitlements and revocation status through StoreKit. Purchased-feature unlock status is also stored locally on the device. For details, see App Store & Privacy.
5. Game Center
The App uses Apple’s Game Center to submit scores to leaderboards and display rankings. When a user is signed in to Game Center and uses these features, Apple processes Game Center player identifiers, display names, scores, rankings and game activity. Display names, scores and related information may be visible to other Game Center users.
The Operator does not create an independent database of Game Center account information. The App obtains only the leaderboard information needed through Apple’s services. Game Center can be managed in iOS settings. For details, see Game Center & Privacy.
6. Official Website
The official website is delivered using Google Firebase Hosting. Google may process standard access information, including IP address, browser and device information, access time and requested URLs, to deliver and secure the website and respond to service issues.
As of the last updated date, the Operator does not use Google Analytics, another analytics tool or advertising on the official website, and the website itself does not use cookies or local storage to identify users.
7. Information Provided When Contacting Us
If a user contacts the Operator by email, the Operator receives the email address, message content and any device model, iOS version, screenshots or other information the user voluntarily provides. This information is used only as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate issues, improve the service and prevent abuse.
8. Service Providers and Disclosures
In connection with the features described in this Policy, Google and its advertising technology partners process information for advertising, consent management and website hosting. Apple processes information to provide the App Store, StoreKit and Game Center. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.
The Operator does not sell user information. Information may be disclosed when permitted by law, including when required by law, necessary to protect life, safety or property, necessary to address misuse or connected with a transfer of the business.
9. International Processing
Through the use of Google, Apple and advertising technology partners, information may be processed or stored in countries or regions outside Japan. In such cases, it is handled under the safeguards provided by the relevant provider and applicable law.
10. Retention and Deletion
- Local game data: retained while the user uses the App or until the App is deleted.
- Contact information: retained as necessary to respond, address issues and maintain appropriate records, then deleted unless retention is required by law.
- Advertising, App Store and Game Center information: retained by Google, Apple or the applicable advertising technology partner under its own policy.
11. Security
The Operator takes reasonable administrative and access-control measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, loss or damage to information under the Operator’s control. However, no Internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. User Rights and Controls
Users can delete local game data using the available in-App control or by deleting the App. Advertising choices can be managed through the App’s privacy settings, iOS settings or Google advertising controls. Game Center and purchase information can be managed through Apple settings or the App Store.
To request access to, correction of, restriction of or deletion of contact information held by the Operator where provided by applicable law, contact the address below with information reasonably necessary to verify the request. For information held by a third-party service, use that service’s privacy controls or contact channel.
13. Use by Minors
Minors should use the App with parental or guardian consent where required. In-App Purchases must be made with parental or guardian permission and, where appropriate, using Apple’s purchase-approval features.
14. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated in response to changes in law, external services or App functionality. Material changes will be announced on this page or in the App, and the last-updated date will be revised.
